Needless to say I... One of my sites has maintained a solid #5 ranking (pr3, 5yr old domain) for a very profitable term for a little over a year. Needless to say I heavily backlinked it continually to achieve this result, however, other projects needed my attention so once it reached the first page I became complacent, which of course is a big no-no and I know better.

Last week I revisited the site because I really want a #1 or #2 position, so I started throwing more links at it. Within 4 days the site dropped to #13 for that phrase, and subsequently caused a complete halt in traffic and money.

I just wanted to reiterate for those of you that get nervous when your sites drop due to the so-called 'Sandbox' effect, just hang in there. I'm confident this site will return even stronger, and I'll report back when it does. I added about 1,000 links in a 5 day period, so it's in shock right now. I've come to call this "Google position throttling".

I think what happens is, when Google sees too many links added in a short period of time, it throttles the effects the links have on ranking, and drops the site to scare you, thinking that your link building will halt because it's what made the site drop. What I've come to learn is that when this happens - it's time to go all out and instead of cutting back, instead add more links to maintain link velocity so Google realizes it's not fly by night. This is just my theory and I'm subject to be entirely wrong. For me, every single site that I've ever ranked has done this, and every time (no exceptions) they've come back to settle into a higher position.

So instead of:

1. Add backlinks
2. Experience ranking drop due to 'Sandbox' effect
3. Stop backlinking because you might make things worse

Practice this:

1. Add backlinks
2. Experience ranking drop due to 'Sandbox' effect
3. Add even more links than what caused the drop in rankings
4. Repeat

I understand how to use scrapeboxes features but i`m just not effective enough, i bought Pats scrapebox domination and really do understand the features, i want to use scrapeboxes commenting feature to get some auto backlinks as i`m full on building and indexing profile backlinks.

I really dont know how to best put everything together could somebody give me a simple plan to follow as i`m tired of scraping and after removing the duplicates and low PR blogs ending up with at best a few hundred blogs and after running the comment feature successful posted on 20 to 30 blogs at very best.

there must be more to learn can any body advise ?

They own a ton other domains and 99% of them have the same DNS!! On each one of their many websites they list their other websites in their footers.

Google surely doesnt penalize them!

Yet if I interlink all my websites google will slap me unless I use different DNS's for each website and use C-class hosting?

They have 11 backlinks and I have 117

So as we all know backlinks are king. I have a few PR4-5 backlinks

They have age, authority, etc on mine site but I have more backlinks and rank better.

It seems most of his backlinks come from autoblogs. Now, I wonder how he can get his "articles" (if you check them they are low quality bunch of phrases and his backlink thrown in) on all of these autoblogs? I guess he doesn't personally own them?

Is it some network like FreeTrafficSystem.C0m ? I think not because the quality of the posts is very poor.

Might it be he bought the backlinks from a guy owning all of these autoblogs?
